The FIRST LEGO League (FLL) is an international competition for 9 to 14 year olds. The ultimate goal of FIRST programs is to help young people discover the excitement and rewards of science, technology, and engineering.
What is FLL? Who is FIRST? Who is Playing At Learning?
In 1998, FIRST and The LEGO Group teamed up to present the FIRST LEGO League (FLL). The program has been an overwhelming success. During the 2012 season, FLL is expected to reach ~21,000 teams in over 60 countries.

Media Coverage (from around the world)
In Northern California, between 2004 and 2012, we increased from 144 to 470 teams! We are planning for ~500 FLL teams for the 2013 season. We need your help to bring this program to more young people – FIRST Works – our future depends on it!
