2019 Maker Faire Bay Area
Join us for a FIRST LEGO League Competition plus Demos at the Maker Faire!
Schedule:
Friday 1pm-5pm : Demo your FLL INTO ORBIT Robot and enjoy Makers-only after hours fun
Saturday 9am-7pm : Compete or Demo the INTO ORBIT Robot Game throughout the day
Check-in & Setup: 9-10am
Game rounds 11am-12pm, 3-4pm, 5-6pm and in between enjoy Maker Faire or work on your robot/project
Project and/or Robot Demos 10-11am, 1-2pm, 4-5pm, 6-7pm and in between enjoy Maker Faire or work on your robot/project
Sunday 9am-6pm : Demo your FLL INTO ORBIT Robot and/or Project
Check-in & Setup: 9-10am
Demo A Group 10-11am, 1-2pm, 4-5pm and in between, enjoy Maker Faire or work on your robot/project
Demo B Group 11-12pm, 3-4pm, 5-6pm and in between, enjoy Maker Faire or work on your robot/project
Your team registration for a Day (Friday, or Saturday, or Sunday) will include the following:
1. Entry tickets for 1 day for 4 team members plus 1 adult. You can purchase tickets for additional team members and adults
2. Custom Maker Faire tshirt for each team / person
3. Early Maker-only access ahead of public (enables you to park and get in to exhibit area early)
4. We will have custom trophies for top teams
5. Opportunity to give presentation about project during Demo Times
There will be plenty of breaks throughout each day so that everyone can explore the Maker Faire and interact with the Maker community. We have limited space, so register now!
You will be joining 1200+ makers!
NorCal FTC will be holding an off season competition throughout the weekend as well. WRRF is coordinating several FRC teams coming as well.
Where: Maker Faire, San Mateo Fairgrounds
When: Friday 5/18 afternoon through Sunday 5/20
