2017 INSTRUCTIONS

There are a few steps that must be done BEFORE the team can register into a tournament –

NOTE:  As of 9/6/2017,  All steps ready.

  1. Have a fully registered team with FIRST which includes payment of the $225 team registration fee and 2 screened coaches.  This is all done through the firstinspires.org site
  2. On the norcalfllc.org site, go to the 2017 Team List and look up your team number.
    1. Click on status
    2. Click to pay the 2017 Annual NorCal Registration fee of $285 – we greatly prefer for you to use paypal.  [See below if you can not use paypal]
    3. Click to fill out NorCal Team Info Form  (aka Jotform)

Information you will need before filling out the team Jotform.

1. For all team members –  first and last names and socio-demographic information (gender, ethnicity, free/reduced lunch, number of years participating in FIRST LEGO League)

2. For all coaches and mentors – first and last names and number of years participating in FIRST LEGO League (and/or information about their participating in other FIRST programs).  The first 2 coaches listed must also match what is in the FIRST team registration database.

3. Name and correct email address for an Adult Volunteer.  This can NOT be either of the 2 screened coaches.

4. Change for 2017 season only – the FIRST Team Roster will not be required ahead of registering into a tournament but is required to be complete ahead of attending the tournament.

Once all of the above is done and reviewed, the team is enabled to register into a tournament.   The link to register will show up on your team’s status page on the line that says, “Team Eligible to Register for QT? “

 

To Pay via check:  

Mail your check for $285 plus any additional contribution to fund our team grant program to:

Please include your correct team number on the memo line of the check itself or if paying for multiple teams, please include a separate list of all team numbers!
