2013-2014  NorCal FLL Region :  District Boundaries

We have divided our region into 4 districts – teams are assigned into 1 district based on their home city.

IMPORTANT:  We may need to move a few cities around to try to even out the districts.  We hope to finalize the exact boundaries before the end of September but this depends on how many new teams “pop up” (and where these teams are) between now and when FIRST closes team registration.

This is currently identical to the district boundaries from 2012 season.

Silicon Valley district includes these cities in Santa Clara county :  San Jose,  Sunnyvale,  Santa Clara, Los Gatos, Campbell, Milpitas, Morgan Hill,  plus San Benito, Santa Cruz and Monterey counties

Peninsula district includes these cities in Santa Clara county:  Cupertino, Palo Alto, Los Altos, Los Altos Hills, Mt. View, Saratoga plus San Mateo, Marin and San Francisco counties

East Bay district includes Contra Costa and Alameda counties

Capitol district includes  the following counties that have teams this year:  Butte, Calaveras, El Dorado, Humboldt, Lake, Mariposa, Mendocino, Merced, Nevada, Placer, Sacramento, San Joaquin, Shasta, Siskiyou, Solano, Sonoma, Stanislaus and Tuolumne.

Teams are assigned to a district.  Each district has their own specific set of qualifiers within that district and all qualifiers in that district advance into a specific championship.

Each team may compete at only one qualifying event.

If your team is not planning on competing at a tournament in the Northern California region this year,  please let us know.
