As we have done in the past, we will be holding a Tshirt design contest open to the Nor Cal FLL Community. The winning design will be used for the official Northern California FLL tournament Tshirt and will be given to Championship tournament volunteers as well as available to teams/individuals to purchase (with customization available).

Designs must be submitted (via email to tshirts@playingatlearning.org) by Tuesday, September 22th and then a short voting period of Nor Cal FLL teams will occur. Anyone can enter a design or multiple designs and pics of submitted designs will be posted.

For those that are interested in  2009 Nor Cal “Smart Move” logo items now  (shirts, mugs, hats, etc)  –  you can order these through our CafePress shop.  More designs will be coming soon.

All proceeds generated goes to supporting FLL in Northern California.

What do you win?

The individual or team submitting the winning design will receive free shirts for team members (up to 10) along with up to 2 coach/mentor shirts.

We will to place our first Tshirt order by October 2nd with expected delivery time of ~3 weeks. [Trying to get the team shirts done in time for late October scrimmages]

We will be offering the following options:

1) winning design on one side (front or back)
2) winning design on front; list of all FLL tournaments sites on back
3) winning design on front; FLL logo on upper back/nape
4) winning design on one side; custom team design on other side

The expected cost of #1 above is ~$15 per shirt.  Expected cost for #2-#4 above is ~$18.  Final details will be available once a winning design is picked.

Tshirts with the winning design on them will be screen printed if the number of different colors used in the design is 4 or less. Otherwise, the Tshirt will be digitally printed. One major difference between the two is that we can put the FLL logo on the sleeve for screen printed shirts but can not add a sleeve logo with a digitally printed shirt.

We can accept more formats – prefer PNG or TIF or similar lossless format but JPG, GIF, PDF or others can be accepted.   The pics on our site may not look great due to reduction in picture resolution.
