2012 NorCal FLL Region :  District Boundaries

 

 We may need to move a few cities around to try to even out the districts – these  “border” cities are marked with an *.  We hope to finalize the exact boundaries before the end of September but this depends on where new teams “pop up” between now and when FIRST closes team registration.

Update as of 10/7:  Moved Saratoga to Peninsula District to even out district sizes.  Everything else should remain the same

 

Silicon Valley district includes these cities in Santa Clara county :  San Jose,  Sunnyvale,  Santa Clara, Los Gatos*, Campbell, Milpitas*, Morgan Hill,  plus San Benito, Santa Cruz and Monterey counties

Peninsula district includes these cities in Santa Clara county:  Cupertino*, Palo Alto, Los Altos, Los Altos Hills, Mt. View, Saratoga* plus San Mateo, Marin* and San Francisco counties

East Bay district includes Contra Costa and Alameda counties 

Capitol district includes  the following counties that have teams this year:  Butte, Calaveras, El Dorado, Humboldt, Lake, Mariposa, Mendocino, Placer, Sacramento, San Joaquin, Shasta, Siskiyou, Solano, Sonoma, Stanislaus and Tuolumne.

 

 

Teams are assigned to a specific set of qualifiers within a district and all qualifiers advance into a specific championship.    Each team may compete at only one qualifying event within their district.

If your team is not planning on competing at a tournament in the Northern California region this year,  please let us know.
